Grant's life at 6 months

Grant is 6 months old today! I have a hard time remembering when he wasn't a part of our physical family. He brings so much joy into our family.

He has become quite the opinionated little boy. He knows when you take away something that he wants and he makes sure that you know that he wants it back. Hopefully this isn't a glimpse into his toddler years! If he sees something he wants, he'll launch himself towards it. Usually this is when he is on my lap or in my arms, so I have to constantly be aware.

He is still in 3 month clothing. We went to the doctor for his 6 month checkup today and found out his weight and height are in the 19th percentile. His head is in the 57th. Haha.

I'll tell stories through pictures, as always :)
We keep thinking Grant is teething. He always chewing on things and has lots and lots of slobber.

He makes funny faces when he sleeps. He started sleeping in his crib a month or so ago! He's still basically on the same sleep schedule he was when he was born...sleep for three hours and then eat. I'm hoping he'll grow out of that soon.

He loves to put anything and everything in his mouth. He also loves to stick his hand in mom and dad's mouths! He thinks it's so funny.

He is sitting up on his own pretty well now :) Although in this picture he fell off the horse two seconds after I took my hands off so I could take the picture.

He still is happy! He giggles now, which is super fun. I'll put up a video of that later.

Do we have a basketball player? His leg position could give us hope for a dancer!

Grant loves Jesus. He will be crying and we can show him the Jesus picture and he will stop and just stare and smile.

He has started eating a little bit of solid food (well, as solid as rice cereal gets). That'll be a different post.

We're excited for what the next few months bring!
